The Project Areas / The New Forests Company

Operations have started for NFC Tanzania, with the approval of the first budget in October 2009. A temporary office is operational in Iringa from where the establishment of the Lukosi Plantation, close to Magome in the Kilolo district, will be managed. By the end of March 2010, just over 300ha was planted. Road construction to serve this area and the area to be planted during the 2010/2011 rainy season is underway.
