- MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS

NFC has made a series of key senior management appointments. Joining the Johannesburg based corporate team is Anton Greeff who has been appointed as Head of Forestry with responsibility for all of NFC’s African Forestry operations. Anton joins NFC from Sappi, where he was latterly their Regional Manager for Mpumalanga.
In Kampala, Tonderai Kachale has taken over as the General Manager of our Ugandan operation. He was previously employed by Border Timbers, Zimbabwe’s biggest private sector timber company, where he has worked for fourteen years. For the last four years Tonderai had been the Border Timbers' head of forestry, managing all forestry, harvesting and protection operations for the company’s 47,000 hectare estate.
And in Lichinga, Noel Myburgh has been appointed as General Manager of our Mozambique operation. He was previously employed by York Timbers as Silviculture Manager, responsible for all silvicultural operations on their 40,000 hectares of plantations.
NFC is delighted to welcome all three to its dynamic management team.
