- PLANTING COMMENCES IN TANZANIA

NFC is pleased to announce that the hard work which has been put into obtaining land titles in Tanzania over the last few years has allowed us to begin operations and planting commenced in December 2009 with a modest 300ha target for this season and a 1300 ha target for next season. A forestry management team under Pieter du Plessis (former Namwasa Plantation Manger (2005-2008)) is being put together and work is underway on a nursery. Tanzania is another exciting step forward and is NFC’s third greenfield operation after Uganda and Mozambique.
